Privacy policy

Last reviewed

Draft: this page is waiting for a final review and may change.

This policy explains what data AustralianWillKit.com.au handles and why. The short version: we have no forms, no accounts and no newsletter, so we never ask for your name, email, phone number or any detail about your will, your family or your estate.

Who is responsible

The controller is Dominet BV, Panamalaan 7D, 1019 AS Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 75389517. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we handle any personal information about people in Australia in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we handle

  • Server logs. Our host (Vercel) processes technical data such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver and protect the site. Logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.
  • No partner links. We have no partner or affiliate links, so no click on this site is tracked for a will provider. Links to providers and official bodies are plain links to their own pages. See our affiliate disclosure.
  • Analytics, only if you accept. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-BL0CC17GS4) to count visits and see which pages help. Without consent, Google tags set no cookies. See our cookie policy.

Legal bases

Server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure site. Analytics cookies: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time ().

Who receives data

Our hosting provider Vercel, and Google if you accept analytics. Both may process data outside Australia and the EU under standard contractual clauses. We do not sell data and we do not pass personal data to will providers, law firms or the Public Trustees we write about.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, object to processing, and complain to the Dutch Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). Because we hold almost no personal data, there is usually nothing to look up. Requests can be sent by post to Dominet BV, Panamalaan 7D, 1019 AS Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and show the new review date at the top.
